We reported last week on the E. Coli outbreak linked to chicken salad sold at Costco; now the recall has spread to 12 states and affects several major grocery chains.
Nineteen people have been sickened by the bacteria which has been traced back to a celery blend used in the Costco salad; 155,000 items have been recalled including salad kits and vegetable trays and other goods sold at Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, and the grocery chains Albertson’s and Safeway.
